Whoa whoa whoa, before you jump to whatever conclusion you already have, just hear me out. There will be haters and there will be people who agree, based on no research and just pure speculation of what seems to be going on in the world, but again based on no research. Unless looking things up vaguely on wiki counts…
Water on Mars?
I was curious about this because I kept hearing about it and kept hearing about people being sick about hearing about it. Although it had just happened, but things like this blow up all over the place all the time since it is a huge discovery for man-kind.
So I googled “Water on Mars” and discovered a whole wiki about it and it stated that there has been discoveries and evidence to back up these “discoveries” & “findings” of water.. However after clicking back and viewing the first link on google I found a post with a video where NASA Scientists briefly say they discovered it and how its a big deal.
From my understanding it’s basically that there is evidence of “FLOWING” water. That is the big deal. This could actually be huge because this means the planet can sustain water on its surface and from this point forward we should send real scientists and the smart people to discover and explore the planet. Maybe they can dig up fossils from another life that once lived on this planet..
If they found evidence of other life forms, it would make what
nonsense I am about to say seem more accurate and/or true?
Now living on planet earth and hearing about all the things going on, it seems inevitable that humans will become extinct. It might not be tomorrow, next week or even in 100 years, but it very well could be… It could be another thousand or six before this happens, but doesn’t mean humans are safe forever…
We are running out of things, Earth is getting warmer (assuming what I hear about ‘Global Warming’ is real) and we are drying up.. Much like Mars?
We have “liquid water” as the NASA Scientist labeled the water found on Mars that is the big discovery. We may have it now, but it sounds like there is always a water shortage somewhere and eventually the Earth’s Oceans may evaporate. Turning Earth into what many movies have portrayed, a Dessert.
Once Earth’s water sources dry up we are bound to become extinct unless we manage to keep our planet moist. Earth could end up becoming Mars.
Not sure, but this feels like it could be relevant in terms of saving Earth by making it a cleaner place. Oil Patch offering $20 Million to anyone with a solution to climate change.
With all the advances in technology and in science, humans may save Earth from its demise. Creating a cleaner future and finding ways to keep our natural resources will allow for this, but only if the technology is created.
The theory is that humans once existed with nothing except all natural elements. Being your basics of:
- Other Humans
So with just that they survived. No technology until one day a man (because woman were just for dragging back to the caves) hit two rocks and discovered fire. This caused another human to realize there was more than meets the eyes. And the wheel was invented.
Okay maybe that’s not quite accurate to how and when it happened, but look at where we are now with all this technology that is probably a major reason we are killing the planet.
We started with pollution by creating/burning our natural resources to fuel our inventions and create new things.
Essentially Technology is great, technology has caused us to destroy ourselves, but with the right technology we could save Earth. Perhaps we will also migrate to Mars and the Moon, living in bio-domes in our own created environments!
Maybe Mars was once like Earth… Full of life forms, water, trees, all of the things, but over time the planet just couldn’t sustain itself and began dying.
But what do I know, it’s not like I actually study this stuff for a living and did any research. This started out as a “Shower Thought” more than anything.
Sometimes my mind wanders and begins to over think things.
I imagine someone somewhere will create a solution for some of Earth’s biggest problems, but if not. Oh well, Earth can become one giant sand pit!
Thanks for reading this shower thought from my wandering mind!
